Meaghan Alicia Aires

I attended Indiana University, Bloomington school of fine arts where I received a B.A. in Studio Art and Art History. It was in jewelry design that I found my true calling. My mother, an accomplished jewelry artist of 30 plus years, encouraged me to pursue my passion for jewelry. It was in her studio that I had the good fortune of taking one-on-one classes learning advanced jewelry & metalsmithing tecchniques. Soon after, I had found my own unique style and immediately fell in love with the whole process.

For the next several months I found myself immersed in the art studio creating jewelry & perfecting my techniques. Driven to turn my jewelry-making passion into a growing business, I decided to take a chance and form Artulia Jewelry. With the help of my husband, a web designer and photographer, and a loving and supporting family, I was able to devote all of my attention to designing and creating wearable art. It was my dream to start my own business and have my designs worn and seen by everyone. Artulia has been a dream come true.

Artistic Design with a Modern Line

In my time spent pursuing a bachelor of arts from Indiana University, I gained an invaluable wealth of knowledge in the history and process of fine art. Every piece that I create goes through rigorous critique and many stages of design. My goal is to make sure that every piece of handmade jewelry that I create is artistic, unique and comfortable.

I artistically design my jewelry with an emphasis on smooth modern lines. I design one-of-a-kind high quality pieces — each piece is individually designed & hand made. Every piece of jewelry I make is created with great care, passion and obsession to detail. I want my jewelry to be both an artful adornment as well as an everyday accessory. Thanks for taking the time to learn a little about me. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy making each piece.
